Notes for the Next Week

eXtreme Family,

Just a few notes about next week:

(1) Three Practices next week

Because of the first US Club game April 4th, we need to put in some extra time next week to prepare. Just remember, Granite Park closes for maintenance in April & May, so Tuesday we practice at Granite, but the rest of the week (and the months of April & May) we will practice at Mangan Park.

Tuesday 3/31 - @granite 7:00-8:30 ** Group Defending
Wednesday 4/1 - @Mangan 6:30 - 8:00 ** Team Defending

Thursday 4/2 - @Mangan 6:45 - Dark (8:00ish) ** Finishing, Positional

(2) Weekend Soccer Homework for Players - WPS this Sunday

Whether you’re a fan who has waited six years for professional women’s soccer to return to the U.S. or a player who wanted the opportunity to pursue professional soccer, you’re going to remember Sunday’s WPS Inaugural Match between the Washington Freedom and Los Angeles Sol at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California (2:30pm PT, Fox Soccer Channel).

Here are some Soccer Videos to get warmed up.

Homework for Tuesday:

  1. Watch/Tape-watch-later/DVR-watch-later/Read match report
  2. Know who scored, who got assists, who got carded
  3. Pick a player in your position
